The Abolition Lab

The lab is available for walk-ins, group meetings, and individual or class projects during our weekly lab hours. As a collaborative space, the lab will only be “closed” when we have classes, faculty convener meetings, and all-lab member meetings. Please consult the calendar to the right for classes and events that will be held in the lab.

Individuals and small groups are welcome to walk-in during our weekly lab hours, 10-3pm.

For meetings and group work outside of regular lab hours, or if you have a large group (up to 36 people), please reserve the lab using your Knox Google Calendar:

1. Select a time on your calendar to create a new event
2. Navigate to the Add Rooms or Location section
3. Select Rooms, and search Abolition Lab
4. Click Save
5. Your event will be confirmed by lab staff (event will change to a solid color)

The Abolition Lab Recording Studio- Available Soon

The lab’s Audio Recording Studio is available by appointment. Walk-ins are possible based on the studio’s availability. Please consult the studio’s calendar to the right before reserving the room.

1. Select a time on your calendar to create a new event
2. Navigate to the Add Rooms or Location section
3. Select Rooms, and search Abolition Lab Recording Studio
4. Click Save
5. Your event will be confirmed by lab staff (event will change to a solid color)
